It's a Jeans Thing

On Wednesday, September 9, the staff of the Credit Union will be wearing jeans, and it won’t be a “casual Wednesday”. They will wear jeans to bring to everyone’s attention the ongoing efforts on behalf of a very worthy cause.

During August and through September 9, in collaboration with Credit Unions 4 Kids, our credit union is raising funds for a good cause, the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals (or CMNH).

CMNH is an international non-profit organization that raises funds for children’s hospitals, as well as disease and treatment research; they also help raise awareness of various children’s health issues and/or illnesses.

Credit Unions across the United States are joining in to help raise funds, one dollar at a time. The donation they ask for is just $1. That little! And yes, you can give more. If you also want to participate by bringing awareness of this nationwide campaign, you can wear jeans that day or share this article with your friends and closed ones.
Get one!

Just come by the credit union and make a donation. And if you can’t make it to the Credit Union, just send an email to credit_union@oasfcu.org requesting the transfer from your account, using the email address that is currently on file at the credit union (so that they know it’s really you making the request). They will put your name on a special card that will be displayed in the lobby at the credit union, in order to help raise awareness and collect more funds!
