Or just walk! The OAS, with the collaboration and sponsorship of the Credit Union, has organized a 5K (that’s kilometers for you laymen out there) run/walk for Saturday October 24, 2015.
The Organization and the Credit Union would like to invite everyone in the Washington DC area to join them for a day of getting together with coworkers and friends outside the office. It is understood that not everyone can run 5 kilometers, so if you want to join just to walk with friends, that’s great too. The distance, in Washington DC terms, is about 30 city blocks.
There is a sign-up fee involved, but there will be cash prizes for the winners of several categories (not kids, the winner in that category will receive a gift card!) and airline tickets will be raffled among race winners of each category. Chances of winning are rather large.
And if for nothing else, it would be nice to get out and enjoy a nice fall day in DC, wouldn’t it?
