Our Credit Union is evolving. The boss, Carlos Calderon, proposed a few years ago an amazing vision for the future of OAS FCU that reflected perfectly how staff and volunteers wanted the Credit Union to be; that’s why for the last couple of years the Credit Union has
This has been OAS FCU's logo to date. |
Among the many places happening at OAS FCU lately, one that has been unknown to us members till now is the creation of the new brand and logo. So here it is.
The current logo maintains all the colors from the original one, blue, green and orange. It’s a shape of soft waves, without angles or corners. It isn’t a complete sphere, yet it hints at one. It resembles a hand that encompasses without pushing, holding something soft but steady; and it’s a sphere in which there is still room for much more, for growth, for expansion and self-fulfillment; and it also represents support, teamwork, and aid.
It reflects very well the values of OAS FCU:
- Courteous and highly skilled service to members;
- The ability to continue improving;
- Communication (which is not easy to spot on the logo, but is clear when you think that I was specifically asked to write a blog article to present and explain the logo!);
- Teamwork;
- A culture of openness, respect and professionalism;
- Stability in the growth and prosperity of the Credit Union, which benefits us all; and
- Consistent sound business principles and sound, well-informed business decisions.
